O show de Truman e o fenômeno das fake news: a questão da regulamentação das redes sociais frente aos direitos fundamentais

Abstract

The study focused on the dissemination of false content over the internet, especially through social networks. Fake news has gained prominence recently, used in electoral scenarios and conveying an ideological charge. It approached parallelism with the work “The Truman Show” to portray life in a non-real universe, where the Being spends its existence directed by external action. The problem centered on the need to regulate the transmission of data over the internet, especially social networks. Using an exploratory method, the relevant literature was visited, as well as data collected from journalistic reports, going through the analysis of PL 2.630/20.
