Ensino e extensão de processo legislativo na construção do sentimento constitucional: estudo desde o Regimento Interno da Câmara de Vitória

Abstract

This study aimed to address how the coordination between formal institutes of legislative political participation and the teaching of legislative processes in Law courses has the potential to contribute to the fulfillment of constitutional education objectives and the construction of a constitutional sentiment. The study was conducted based on the institutes outlined in the Internal Regulations of the Municipal Council of Vitória, in order to provide a more concrete analysis. To address the issue, it first presented the significance of education on legislative processes in the formation of Law students, as it has the power to achieve the constitutional education objectives outlined in Article 205 of the Constitution of the Republic. Subsequently, it established a connection between the coordination of teaching legislative processes and the extension through legislative political participation with the construction of a constitutional sentiment. Lastly, it investigated the pedagogical potential of utilizing formal institutes of political participation in fostering the construction of a constitutional sentiment, using the Internal Regulations of the Municipal Council of Vitória as a starting point. The method employed was dialectical, within the theoretical genre, utilizing a qualitative data approach, a case study design, and data collection strategies including bibliographic research and analysis as well as legislative collection.
